Summer season: The temperature is ideally between 9 and 30 degrees during summer. You can explore the small villages and valleys during this time.

Winter season: The temperature is ideally between -5 and 4 degrees during winter. If you like to enjoy the cold climate of Himachal, you should visit during this time.

Railways 

You can take a train to Shimla, which is also the nearest railway station. Also, you can take a train to Chandigarh and book a taxi to reach Kinnaur Valley. 

Airways 

You can take a flight to Jubbarhatti airport, which is the closest one to Kinnaur Valley. Take a taxi to Kinnaur valley from the airport. Ideally, the airport is 23 kms away from Kinnaur. 

Roadways 

Kinnaur is (well-connected) to other parts of Himachal. You can book a taxi from Shimla to reach Kinnaur. Ideally, take a taxi from Delhi to Kinnaur. 

Best Time To Visit: 

April to June 

The summer months are ideal for exploring the valley. You can visit all the significant tourist spots and have a good time with your loved ones. Ideally, you can enjoy trek adventures at the place. 

July To September 

The rainy season is dreamy in Kinnaur. You will witness the lush green mountains and valleys. You can spend some quiet time away from city life during the monsoons - though travel can be risky because of landslides. 

October To March
