Railways 

You can take a train to Kalka, which is the nearest railway station. Alternatively, you can take a train to Chandigarh and then travel by road. 

Airways 

You can take a direct flight to Jubbarhatti airport, which is the nearest one. The airport is 22 kms away from Shimla. Once you reach the airport, you can travel by taxi to the place. 

Roadways 

You can reach Shimla by taking a cab from Delhi or Chandigarh. These two places are close to Shimla. Also, some private cabs and buses ply between Shimla and Chandigarh. Shimla is well connected to important highways in India.
