Railways 

You can take a direct train to Pathankot, which is the nearest railway station. It is 85 kms away from Dharamshala. You can book a cab once you reach the Pathankot station for Dharamshala. 

Airways 

You can take a flight to Pathankot airport. Once you reach the airport, you can book a taxi to reach Dharamshala. Ideally, you can also land in Chandigarh and then take a cab to reach the place. 

Roadways 

Dharamshala is well connected by road, and you can reach the place by taxi if you land in Delhi or Chandigarh. Also, there are local buses that ply in the region - you can choose that option.
